Site Renovation and Updated Terms of Use

Hello Everyone!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope you had a fantastic 2015.

I would need to fix my blog to accommodate for a bunch of new resources and re-categorization. Because of the sheer amount of pages (60!) and there’s no easy way to clean them up, this will take in a matter of weeks depending on my internet speed. But, there will be a few changes in my Terms of Use that is going to be implemented today. Due to circumstances from last year, I am forced to change from Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) to Creative Commons Attribution- NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/).

So what does this mean? While I allow commercial use of my work, you are not allowed to edit or make attribution works of my resources any longer. There are also other terms added and removed in the Terms of Use page. If you’re planning to use my work, please refer to this new terms of use. Commercial games or projects in development that has already done this are exempted. But future works will fall under this rule.

Finding the resources through google images and crediting google images instead is not a good excuse. Making terrible edits of my resources and claiming I did them and let others criticize and calling me a noob artist is not a good behavior as well. Let’s all be civil please. It has also occurred to me that some users used my resources without proper attribution, and if this keeps going on I will remove the free for commercial to require written permission. Please don’t make it any more complicated.

So what’s down in the pipeline?

  • I will be providing megapacks. Before it is a requirement to download all resources in their individual zips per page. I am going to streamline this process and make it easier for you guys.
  • I will move to RPG Maker MV resources. But it doesn’t mean I’ll abandon the RPG Maker VXAce style. I prefer it a lot more than RPGMaker’s MV default. I will try to figure out how to make generator parts for them that will work with MV’s….shoddy gradient workaround but we’ll see.
  • I will be collaborating more with Aekashics and Yanfly. To the best of my ability, I will try to create resources that will fit with their releases. But more information about this later.
