I have updated VX Cover Art Hero 1 – Black Clad Male. It now includes a complete remaster of an old art work I made back in like, 2013. Now there’s two versions of this character. One is Teenager (looks like 16 years old or so) and an Adult version (one that looks like 20 years old or so).  The faceset version is only for RPG Maker MV. I will create a VXAce version whenever I get time for it. However the busts should be on a nice size for both RPG Maker MV and VXAce.

Elmer Battle Cut-In

Something I’ve been working on…

I was going to post just JPGs but a few friends convinced me to post it with watermarks. Derp.
I’ve been making a custom tall template and remaking RTP in it. It includes both RMXP and VX/Ace characters and formatted too so it can have generator poses, even for the poses. These are not edits and recreated from scratch. While it has 7 unique frames, it can be cut down to 3 frames to fit the normal RTP. Fomar0153 has been kind enough to make a script for it just in case I’ll ever release it, just because he can.

I guess the biggest question mostly is that, if I were to sell it, would you buy it and how much are you willing to pay for it?

Premise

Ill Will is a dungeon crawler with carefully crafted, minimalist story elements and simplified overall design. The combat uses a turn-based structure with a heavy emphasis on elemental affinities, and a streamlined AI routine for enemies that helps curb outright stupid behavoir.

It is very firmly divided between gameplay and plot, with decently-sized sessions of both, rather than a more rapid alternation.

Story

“So, we’re here. We’re here and we don’t know where “here” is. All we know is they want to eat us, and we don’t want to be eaten by them. Oh, and we know they have some tricks we’ve never seen before. Throwin’ fire and all that business. That’s not good. Oh, and one last thing we know.

We can do it too.”

Gameplay

The gameplay consists of going through miniature dungeons to acquire Traces. Every Trace teaches certain skills at certain levels, has elemental affinities, and stat modifiers. Your allies are each restricted to a number of categories, such as Physical or Ailment Traces; you may use any Trace you please.
