Actor 1-4: Ulrika WIP

queenofthenight Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a nice holiday. I wanted to finish Actor 1-4: Ulrika before the holiday arrived but I had been so busy. On one hand, her base is already done. She just needs expressions and stuff. For now, here’s a preview of what the new Ulrika will look like! I also made like a small sketch here to see how her new design holds up. I kinda like it.

Actor 1-1: Ralph WIP

queenofthenight I held off for the longest time on properly recreating Ralph, but it’s becoming increasingly harder to make things for him to look nice. So here’s a complete redraw + recolor to fit the RMVXA style.

I made his cloak (?) thing a mono color instead of what it was before. It was bothering me a lot when I first saw the design. Let me know your thoughts if you have any!

The reason I’m doing is this that I want to properly provide resources instead of just edits with my original design. Ralph having a scarf or cape was me trying to make sense what it is he’s wearing. What if someone wants the original design more? So here’s that option.

The unfortunate thing is that the original bust will not receive edits from me but a lot of artists already made edits for that version of him, just dig around~

Also here’s an original design battler WIP I’ve been working on I guess. Not sure if I’ll ever finish.

I have updated VX Cover Art Hero 1 – Black Clad Male. It now includes a complete remaster of an old art work I made back in like, 2013. Now there’s two versions of this character. One is Teenager (looks like 16 years old or so) and an Adult version (one that looks like 20 years old or so).  The faceset version is only for RPG Maker MV. I will create a VXAce version whenever I get time for it. However the busts should be on a nice size for both RPG Maker MV and VXAce.

RTP Redesigned!

Ahhh I was waiting for my contribution to go out in the 12 Hours of Christmas in RMW (check it out yo! Free RM resources!). I didn’t expect my contribution would be on the 12th hour but I digress! Here are the free resources! I made some full sketch bodies but I think I’ll transform them to chibis later. Just remember the following to credits!

CTB Update Fix

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you to the awesome person who donated! I love you man ;-;

Here’s a new version of the CTB with some fixes! Please give a warm thanks to AwesomeCool and Yami-chan for all the help they gave! The script page is also updated. It fixes the following things:

1. If the enemy can’t make any actions it crashes (example would be a monster without mana thus can’t using abilities) – line 203 the error occurs due to current_action being nil.
2. States do not expire nor does damage tick from them.
3. Forced actions do not work.
4. Set an enemies agility to 999 (kept rest the same) and order didn’t change at all (at first it looked like it was going to till after the first action when the bar changed to its normal order)

Bug that needs to be fixed:

The order is sometimes wrong (I noticed this with the slime I gave various different skills to that all have different speeds set. Making me believe that skills with different speeds on one character will throw off the order bar).

Quick Update!

Hey guys,

Yami’s website, Symphonyan/Symphoria is down for the moment. Stuff happened. For those who want to access Yami’s materials, head over the Github and get them there for the time being! The Manual can be accessed over here.

I’ve been getting some inquiries about Luna Engine, I know we’re taking a while but it’s just that massive the script is confusing our testers with the explanation of the commands. We’re still trying to nail how to make it really accessible!

And a Work-In-Progress by rhyme. :D


There are missing features being currently implemented, but just a few to note thanks to the lovely rhyme:

  • The gold window doesn’t have much config options, and it defaults to VL Gothic instead of the system font.
  • Also options to use things like: normal_color and system_color would be really nice!
  • There is no option to create a Location window or a custom variable window?
  • There also seems to be no option to assign each window a custom windowskin.

So yes, as much as we want to release it, we do want to perfect it. Because believe me, redoing your configs is not fun.

Special Resource Month

Hello everyone!

Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded, entered the Philippines on November 6th and caused devastating damage throughout the region. It was so intense that it is a huge challenge for our country to recover from it.

I decided to do the following for my homeland. Please be patient with me. Here are the benefits everyone will receive for donating.

  • I will be doing a personality swap of our existing resources. So it means you can have an arrogant Ralph, a shy Ralph, etc.
  • I could finish my VX RTP -> VXAce Conversion faster.
  • I’m doing a Let’s Play/Try livestream after the 21st.
  • I will be making some sideview sprites based on Vibrato’s and Holder’s (if he give me permission) sprites. This is my personal contribution and based on the RTP. By donating to charities, that will be listed later, and I will create more sprites.
  • I will be prioritizing requests from people who donated. All I need is proof which will be detailed below.

Remember that the above resources to be made are for everyone’s use, this is not a commission but an act of good will.

What do I need to do?

I will be tallying based on the most demand. For example, 15 people donated for sideview and 10 people for Personality swap. I will be doing a sideview sprite first THEN personality swaps. Based on the amount of donations, I will be updating this blog again on how many I can do and such. I will be doing this until the End of December. If I somehow got busy and couldn’t I’ll make it to the target goal, then it will move to January or something. It’s definitely a priority work.

That’s about it! Thank you very much. The people who donated first will get the resources in advance and will be made public a week later. I’m not hopeful but I wish we could reach at least $1000.

Dark Alice and Green Brenda

No, we’re not done with Luna Engine. There’s still tons of things to do and I have work deadlines. Instead have some art where I totally wasted time because I wanted to have an outlet and I’m tired of doing correct anatomy and some such -w-)

The first one is from RMW where someone requested a Green Brenda. Unfortunately, I totally confused their avatars and couldn’t read so I ended up making one that wasn’t necessary. But hey, someone here might find it useful.

Someone requested this in RMN. So I thought, oh hey, why not. Luckily he also direct linked on the image, so I managed to find out who made it. The character is originally from Soramani Kagome Kagome and enjoy the faceset+portraits. This is the rar file including a bonus PSD =w=)b

Luna Engine Update

I had a talk with the very lovely people, Neon Black and Fomar0153. Both of them agreed to make their scripts compatible with Luna Engine. We’re still on heavy beta testing phase as well as being bombarded with so much work. BUT, here’s a GREAAATT present from the awesome Neon Black.
